I had a bad experience with one of the estate agents a few months ago and that is the time I got in touch with Mel from Hipps .I was in a hurry to move to the new home and the time period was very short due to the bad experience I had with the other estate agent and there was no chance for completion and property handover . From the day I met Mel at the purchased property for viewing , I felt that Mel would be the only one able to get it done for me, as he is very knowledgeable , optimistic , genuine , honest , friendly and kind . He was talking sense and his dealing was clear and crisp . Mel went over and above on several occasions Being a first time buyer my queries were endless and I am sure people will get super irritated with my silly queries , moreover some of my queries were out of his responsibility and expertise . But this gentleman was so patient , always very responsive , realistic, reliable, very quick with messages and even if there is something which he needs to chek , I never chased him . but he was always promising time or day to get back and very punctual on the time he promised . To be honest he was chasing me for my follow ups with him , so you can imagine how dedicated and sincere he is . His CAN DO attitude is very much appreciable and he made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, had great communication throughout and was always at the other end of the phone if we had any questions. I could not recommend Mel enough, to be able to work with an estate agent like himself is truly rare and a breath of fresh air. There was an occasion where he was even ready to pay from his pocket on my behalf , to get the property on time as he promised and I realized how committed he is with the customer to keep his promise . He never missed a call and was able to liaise with the right people at the right time to keep things on track. Normally I don't trust the people the estate agent introduced with my previous experience , but with Mel whoever he introduced were so professional and if there were any delays anywhere , he was doing his level best to get the things done on time as he promised . Mel is truly exceptional . Even when he is out of the country , you ask him anything , he will be there for you always online. Hipps and Mel are a one-off - never before have we experienced such superb and efficient service. Every single aspect of Mels service has more than deserved five stars - swift communication, customer care, being very helpful and courteous, his knowledge and advice - what else could one want! . I am grateful for his dedicated service and anyone looking for an agent, he will be assured that the transaction will be a success through and through. Last but not least , I was having some personal issues and was not in a situation to collect the key on the last day of handover and when I called he said he will handover the key to my home . I thought of grabbing it on the way from somewhere , but I heard a knock on my door and Mel was there on time as promised in front of my door with a smile along with the key between his busy work schedules(Exceptional and outstanding customer care) . Mike and Mel gave a fantastic service throughout the process of selling my house. They gave the most realistic valuation and worked hard to get another buyer in super quickly when I lost my first buyers (nothing to do with Hipps or the house) so that I didn't lose the property I was buying. They were honest, genuine and obviously take pride in doing an excellent job. Would highly recommend!
